Grade 12 Art is a comprehensive art course that explores various different media, methods and styles, from realism, through abstraction to more conceptual, contemporary approaches to art-making.  The first term is teacher-led and the second term is student-driven, where students explore an artistic theme and medium by developing a cohesive independent body of work.  There is an emphasis on 20th Century art history, moving from the beginnings of Modernism to the vast, confusing pastures of Post Modernism.
